We are relaunching our Book Package Point service. After discussing with you, about the books you'd like to borrow, by e-mail, on the phone or on Teams, on the next on duty day we will search for the books, then we will leave your borrowed books at the reception near the main entrance of building A. Because of the possible number of requests we can't guarantee, that your book package will be done on time during opening hours, but you can come for them, on the day after the on duty days, on Wednesdays and on Fridays, then after a quick administration, you can collect them.

Borrowed books can also be returned to us by mail or dropped off at the reception near the main entrance of building A. In order to make identification easier, we ask that you write down your name and your Library Card’s identifier (the numbers starting with DFK under the barcode) on a piece of paper.

Questions and Answers:

•         When writing a thesis, how can I get suitable literature?

To get started, take a look around our website: http://konyvtar.uniduna.hu/

By clicking on the flag of the United Kingdom at the upper right corner, you can change the language to English, then by using Quick Search or clicking on the Advanced search...  button you can access our catalogue.  (Sometimes when you clicks on the Advanced search, on the next page the language reverts to Hungarian, you can change it back to English in the upper right corner besides Bejelentkezés.)

By searching our catalogue, you can find the books and theses that might help you.

Remember, if you need help or can't find something, the librarians can help you.

•         How can I view theses, will I be able to view them online?

You can view theses stored in the library only during opening hours. Online viewing is not possible from home, only in the library’s building.

•         How can I access online subscription databases?

Visit the library's website and under E-resources you can find Databases (http://konyvtar.uniduna.hu/index.php?p=adatbazisok) here you will find our subscription databases and a free collection.

With the help of eduID (NEPTUN identifier), you can view the contents of the databases subscribed by the institution.

•         My Library Card has expired, what can I do?

Let us know and we'll extend it.

If you have any questions, write to us (konyvtar@uniduna.hu).
