Introduction
The University of Dunaújváros Library and Information Centre is an open higher educational public collection. Its services are available to the students, teachers and employees of the University of Dunaújváros as well as strangers provided that they accept and observe the rules of the library.
The Library is at the disposal of its readers with basic and complementary services.
Basic services of the Library
In conformity with the Act CXL of 1997 on the libraries, section 56 paragraph (2) the basic services listed below are due to the library users free of charge:
- visiting libraries,
- on-site use of parts of the collection delimited by the library,
- use of stock revealing instruments (traditional- and on-line catalogues),
- information on the services provided by the library and the library system.
The basic services can be used following the registration. The registration takes place at the lending desk; the visitor receives a visitor card that shall be handed in at the same place on leaving.
The complementary services of the Library listed below are only available to registered readers:
- lending
- inter-library loan
- reservation of books
- information, reference service
- education for users
- e-resources
- computer usage (internet, NEPTUN)
- photocopying
- printing
- use of scanner
- use of collection of standards
- use of collection of theses
- use of local history papers

Tuesday: 10 am - 6 pm
Wednesday: 10 am - 6 pm
Thursday: 10 am - 6 pm
Friday: 10 am - 6 pm
Saturday*: 9 am - 3:30 pm
*Only at the weekend for part-time students.
